It's hard to even begin this post because I have so many things I want to say about EWES camp, but I guess I'll start here: EWES stands for Equipping Women for Exceptional Service, and it's a girls' church camp I've attended for the past 3 years. It is absolutely-without-a-doubt the best week of my year coming second only to Christmas (because Christmas).
This year I was asked to photograph the camp and I'm SO EXCITED to share these images with you. They are filled with my favorite people and so much love and that makes me happy.
So, basically what we do at EWES is learn about how we can better lead and serve in the church as women. This includes classes from women we love, doing service projects all week, and serving each other in small ways throughout the camp.
EWES is really something special because it's like no other group of girls you've ever been in. This week is so filled with love and encouragement and Jesus, and it's really something incredible to be a part of.
I hope these images do a good job of showing how special this camp and these girls are.
Hey there, friends! So, in an effort to FINALLY update the blog, I'm going to be posting a ton of old work, and I could not be more excited to show you everything I've been working so hard on the last few months!!
I'm starting off today with a session I did for fun with my best pal, Grace. When Grace and I hang out, there is almost always a planned trip to some cute little location during golden hour to take fun portraits, and it's kind of my favorite thing.
So, on this particular day, we planned to go to this field on the side of a road right near Grace's house because it was filled with YELLOW. FLOWERS. If you know Grace or me, you know we are obsessed with the following two things: YELLOW and FLOWERS. So, pretty much this location was a dream come true. Also the light was freakin' incredible. So, pretty much best day ever.
